Lancashire Constabulary is currently accepting applications for transferee police officers from other Forces. Whilst we will consider officers from all ranks and specialisms, we are particularly looking for:
• Constables - Detective and Uniform including specialisms
• Sergeants - Detective and Uniform including specialisms
• Trainee Investigator (TI) - uniquely we are also looking for Uniformed Constables who are seeking a move into a Detective role who will have the opportunity to join us directly as a TI
Transferees in specialist roles will be able to retain their specialism as long as they pass the process and there is an equivalent role available.
Newly promoted officers must have completed step 4 of the Police Promotion Framework at the time of application to be considered at their new rank. For detective roles, you must be PIP 2 qualified, i.e. successfully passed the NIE exam, attended the ICIDP course and had your ICIDP portfolio signed off and assessed within the prescribed timescales.
It is essential that officers hold a full current driving licence. As part of the recruitment process all applicants will have to undertake and successfully pass the Job Related Fitness test.
We have opportunities throughout the County working within various roles and successful candidates will be posted to their preferred location and role wherever possible.
