The CJ Admin Assistant role is an interesting and varied role working within a team. The admin team underpin and support operational officers across Lancashire in bringing cases before the Magistrates and the Crown Court, working in partnership with the Crown Prosecution Service and the Courts within that process. The team check and process prosecution cases including obtaining and sharing digitally received evidence securely with other agencies. The role involves mainly desk based activity, using bespoke computerised systems on a daily basis which full training will be given. There are also manual filing systems to maintain. The role requires someone who can pay attention to detail, have an efficient, methodical and accurate approach to their work especially when accessing, retrieving, recording and updating computerised records.

Please note, candidates successful at shortlisting will be required to undertake an assessment as part of the interview process. This will consist of a psychometric test.
