Applications are invited from existing Chief Inspectors or substantive Inspectors seeking promotion to Detective Chief Inspector.

The process will consist of application form, presentation and interview.

The application process is as follows:

• complete application using our on-line recruitment system (Oleeo).

• there are five Competency Values Framework (CVF) questions and candidates will be assessed against CVF Level 2 throughout the process.

• you will need to provide an email from your line manager to confirm that your PDR and those for the individuals you manage are up-to-date and that you have sufficient CPD against this career pathway. This should be emailed through separately to HRServices@lancashire.police.uk

It is essential that applicants are PIP2 qualified and have successfully completed the Management of Serious Crime Investigations Development Programme (MSCIDP).

The closing date for applications is Monday 1 February at 09:00hrs

For those successfully shortlisted, presentations and interviews will take place at the beginning of March. The presentation topic will be provided in advance.
