Applications are invited for the post of MOSOVO Assistant within West MOSOVO Team, based at Blackpool. 

The purpose of this role is to provide administrative support to the MOSOVO Team. To maintain the ViSOR (Violent and Sex Offender Register) in an accurate and timely manner. To be responsible for administrating and minuting Multi Agency Risk Assessment and management processes. This may involve travelling to various locations within Lancashire in support of other teams.  

Key Duties (not a comprehensive list): 

Work as part of a proactive team of police staff and police officers. 

Interrogation of police databases  

Maintain ViSOR database adhering to National ViSOR standards, including creation of nominals. 

Closely Support Offender Managers to ensure nominals records are accurate. 

Process Notifications of change. 

Check and input details on to intelligence systems. 

Create and disseminate bulletins and briefings. 

Administer and attend multi agency meetings, supporting the chair by taking minutes, providing accurate records and distributing the same. 

Provide close administrative support for the Detective Inspector/Detective Sergeants including the preparation of statistical data. 

Liaise with a variety of internal departments and external agencies to promote a consistent approach to partnership working. 

Please note, as a condition of your appointment you must undergo and pass (MV).

Please be aware there is a minimum 5 year UK residency required for Management Vetting.
