Applications are invited for the post of Child Exploitation Administration Assistant, within the West Division, Child Exploitation Team based at Blackpool.

The purpose of this role is to provide comprehensive CSE admin and word-processing support to the BCU CSE Team and to be responsible for administrating Multi Agency Risk Assessment and management processes in support of the operational units. This may involve travelling to various locations within Lancashire for the purpose of recording minutes of multi agency risk management meetings and supporting other teams.

Typical day in the life:

09:00 - reviewing the safeguarding referrals and intelligence which has come in over the weekend. This is so you can brief the Detective Sergeants and our Partner Agencies.

10:00 - Attend morning meeting with the partner agencies, where you will provide information which will help develop the measures to tackle child exploitation.

11:00 - Check in on the department mailbox - this is where the intelligence will come through from the partner agencies and any requests that need carrying out.

12:00 - Lunch.

Afternoons:

- To minute various meetings that take place throughout the week, this includes the Multi Agency Child Exploitation meeting which is one of our most important meetings of the week.
- Immediate support to the Detective Constables with their investigations and offering wider support by putting briefing packs together to help our Police Constables with tackling Child Exploitation throughout Blackpool.
