Applications are invited for the post of an ICT Applications Officer, within the ICT Department, Application Support Team based at Hutton Headquarters. The site is accessible by public transport and there is also free car parking on site. 

As an ICT Applications Officer you will be the second line support for all critical and strategic ICT applications throughout the Constabulary.  

The role will require you to use your knowledge of applications to support users with technical & process issues, change & service requests, as well as dealing with all general queries relating to the ICT application platforms. 

Communication skills are a vital requirement for this role and our main aims as a team are to support and keep our customers updated on issues, changes, incident status and progression of issues 

You will assist our staff, third parties and the wider ICT Applications team by ensuring that relevant information is shared and available, so any disruption to service is minimised.        

The support team office is covered 08:00-17:00 on an informal rota. 

At times here will be a requirement to perform on-call duties on an ad hoc basis for systems upgrades and if technical issues are being experienced outside of core hours
