- CIP - Volunteer Opportunity - Mobile Police Station Driver - Blackpool, Fylde and Wyre
Lancashire Constabulary’s is seeking volunteers for the role of a mobile police station driver!
Volunteers will be trained to drive the liveried mobile police stations vehicles from the storage site to location. This will be for pre-planned community engagements events and planning policing operations, which are usually 5 to 6 hours. The Volunteers will set up the Mobile Police Stations ensuring they are ready for the event. The Volunteer is not needed for the community engagement itself but will return once the event has finished and will pack away and close the station ensuring it is clean and tidy for the next use. The Volunteer will then drive the vehicle back to storage. Volunteers are not required to be operationally involved with any members of the public and will always be accompanied by PC/PCSO when on location.
