Lancashire Constabulary’s Corporate Development – Connect Department is seeking a Connect Systems Administrator to be based at Headquarters.

Please note, this post is temporary until 31st December 2018, subject to review.

The site is accessible by public transport and there is also free unlimited car parking on site.

You will work on a small team of System Administrators are the second line of support for CONNECT users. CONNECT is a strategic ICT platform which ‎is used by our operational policing and support teams. The system is currently live with Case and Custody, with Crime and Intelligence due to go live as the next phase of CONNECT rolls out.

As a systems administrator you will use your knowledge of database administration to support users with technical issues, process, change request, service requests and general queries regarding the platform. You will assist our staff, third parties and the wider CONNECT team by ensuring that relevant information is shared and any disruption to service minimised.

The support team office is covered 08:00-17:00 on an informal rota.

There will be an occasional requirement to perform on-call duties on an ad hoc basis for systems upgrades and if technical issues are being experienced outside of core hours.

All successful applicants will be subject to Vetting clearance.
