Applications are invited for the post of Senior Drugs Reporting Officer, within the Scientific Support Drugs Team based at Headquarters. The site is accessible by public transport and there is also free car parking on site.

The purpose of this role is to provide an efficient and effective drugs analysis service by supervising, motivating and training staff and acting as an expert in all aspects of the analysis of drugs, illicit drug production and interpretational evidence.

Led by a team of experts with over a century’s collective experience, the UKAS accredited Lancashire Constabulary drugs testing service has been in operation since 2011, providing reliable services to investigation teams and the criminal justice system with the sole purpose of protecting the communities of Lancashire.

Since being in operation, the Service has maintained strong relationships with UK Policing and most recently worked in partnership with the talented colleagues from North Wales Police. With a constant ambition to develop, it is now time to grow the facility thanks to the significant financial investment from Chief Constables and PCCs in the region.
