Detective and Uniform Chief Inspector - Applications close Monday 1st November 2021 at 12 noon.

Lancashire Constabulary are looking to recruit into current and projected Chief Inspector vacancies, across both uniform and detective portfolios. Applications are invited from substantive Inspectors looking for promotion to the rank of Chief Inspector and Chief Inspectors looking for a side-ways move. Application Process

As part of the upcoming Chief Inspector promotion process, Chief Constable Rowley will be holding a promotion workshop presentation to outline the process to prospective candidates. This will be held on Wednesday 13th October at 14:00 – 15:00 in the Lancastria Conference Room. For external candidates unable to attend there will be teams link available.

The paper sift of all submitted application forms will take place week commencing 8th November 2021, all candidates will be notified via the on-lie recruitment portal of the outcome. Successful candidates will be invited to undertake a presentation and interview, which will be conducted between 29th November 2021 and 6th December 2021. Candidates will be emailed the presentation topic prior to interviews.

Candidates will be assessed against level 3 Competency Values Framework (CVF) throughout this process (application form, presentation, and interview).

All appointments will be subject to enhanced vetting, MV. Note applicants must meet the 5 years UK residency prior to submitting an application.
