The Office Of Police & Crime Commissioner are seeking a Policy Partnerships and Support Officer (Victims and Vulnerable People) based at County Hall, Preston Lancashire.
We are looking for a dynamic, passionate individual who is keen and enthusiastic to make a difference to the lives of some of Lancashire's most vulnerable people.
The Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner is responsible for Lancashire's flagship integrated victims' service – ensuring victims of all types of crime receive the best possible help and support to recover.
We work closely with partners to drive forward policy around key areas such as violence against women and girls, domestic abuse and sexual violence, as well as playing an active role in representing victims needs in the criminal justice system.
The post holder will be required to provide administrative and technical support to the Policy and Partnerships Manager for Victims and Vulnerable People, including the preparation of minutes and agendas, liaising with the 3rd sector to evaluate projects, and creating budget spreadsheets.
The successful candidate will also need to have good communication skills to develop relationships with a wide range of partners, and will have the opportunity to help shape and influence policy going forward.
