We are delighted to announce that an opportunity has arisen to become part of the Intel Support team within Contact Management based at HQ.
If you want to be part of a proactive and dynamic team that plays a huge part in catching criminals and keeping Lancashire safe, then this is the role for you.
As part of Intel Support (ISU) you will be a part of a multi skilled team based within Contact Management.
The role involves the live time monitoring of Lancashire’s ANPR system, utilising ANPR across the county to deter and disrupt criminality and safeguard the public. You will run a busy and demanding Force operations radio channel and work closely with other Forces and other agencies such as Highways England.
You will work closely with the Force Incident Manager during the management of vehicle pursuits across the county and provide a specialist intelligence research function to enable accurate and effective decisions to be made using the NDM.
You will utilise and interrogate a variety of systems to support live-time operational incidents and on-going police investigations.
The successful candidate will be required to work in accordance with the attached rota which will come into effect March 2023.
Please note, as a condition of your appointment you must undergo and pass Management Vetting.
Please be aware there is a minimum 5 year UK residency required for Management Vetting.
